These strawberry margaritas are not only so easy to make, but they actually only focus on the natural sweetness of the strawberries! Ice: crushed ice will work perfectly here! You can also blend the ice with the strawberries to create a frozen virgin margarita here too! What makes these Paleo friendly? It tastes like drinking a frozen strawberry lime soda! Really yummy and refreshing since this is alcohol free! I don’t know why, but the bubbles I feel like give it a weird taste if I were just sipping it on its own! However, mixed in with the strawberry and lime, this healthy mocktail recipe totally gets elevated to the next level. Seltzer: okay so truth be told, I’m not a seltzer fan on its own either. ![]() However, I recognize that some people do, so feel free to add in a touch here! It won’t taste like maple syrup, but it will give a nice sweetness to it without throwing in an additional flavor component! You can also use coconut sugar if you’d like, or regular sugar if you’re not Paleo! I’ll be honest, I think it tastes great without the maple syrup, but I also don’t like a whole bunch of sweetness in my drinks. ![]() Maple syrup: now, this one is completely optional. What I really love is pairing it with lime seltzer instead of just plain seltzer, but feel free to use whatever you’d like! You could even get a strawberry seltzer of do some club soda if you’re not following a strictly Paleo diet! It adds a nice freshness to the overall taste of this easy virgin margarita. Lime: I normally am not a huge fan of lime, but I really enjoy it in this recipe. Strawberries: yes, this healthy mocktail recipe focuses on fresh fruit! Since strawberries are in season, I say go for the fresh fruit! It will be cheaper as well when purchasing in a grocery store, or you could even go strawberry picking, which is one of my favorite summertime activities □ Great for kids and adults alike!
